For organizationsTraining a whole team? That is our Learning & Development division.Build an understanding of AI before deciding how deeply you want to go.
A starting point for learning AI from trusted providers.
A practical introduction to generative AI for people who want to use it well in everyday work. Five modules cover AI fundamentals, productivity with AI tools, prompting, responsible use and keeping current as the tools change.
Microsoft

Selected by Nakoda as sensible places to begin. These are not ranked, sponsored or endorsed by the organizations that publish them.
Learning paths
Four routes through the catalogue, named for what you want to do rather than how advanced you are.
By role
Start with the work you already understand, then discover how AI can change it.
Select your role
You are being asked to approve AI investment, absorb AI risk and answer for AI decisions — usually before anyone has explained the technology in terms a decision-maker can use.
For individuals
Pick a route by the outcome you need for your career: an examined certification, CPE hours for your professional body, or a free first step. Every link goes to the provider’s own page.
For organizations
Everything above is self-serve — a resource you work through on your own, on the provider’s own site. If you’d rather someone taught it, Nakoda AI runs that training directly: capability that stays after the training ends.
By topic
Twelve subject areas, each counting what the catalogue currently holds.
United Arab Emirates
Universities, scholarships, internships and national programs supporting AI education in the UAE.
The UAE funds AI education directly — through universities built for it, national coding and internship programmes, and scholarships that cover study here and abroad.
Read the UAE Government sourceNames follow the UAE Government’s Learning Artificial Intelligence page. Intakes, eligibility and awards change between editions and are published by each program.
Providers
Technology companies, universities, institutes and UAE government bodies whose material is listed in this directory.

Certifications
Google Cloud's senior machine-learning credential, earned by passing a paid proctored exam rather than by finishing a course. It examines designing, building and running ML systems in production on Google Cloud, and assumes the candidate has done that work.
Professional · Certificate · Paid
Microsoft
Certifications
Credentials awarded on a scenario-based assessment rather than a multiple-choice exam, aimed at demonstrating a specific technical skill rather than broad product knowledge.

Microsoft
Certifications
An entry-level certification covering AI and machine-learning concepts and the Azure services that implement them. The preparation material is free to work through whether or not you sit the exam.
Fundamental · Certificate · See provider
Microsoft
Certifications
The engineer-level step beyond AI Fundamentals: a paid, examined credential covering building and operating AI solutions on Azure. The training that prepares for it is free; the exam is not.
Essential · Certificate · Paid
AWS
Certifications
AWS's foundational AI credential, for people who work alongside AI systems rather than build them — concepts, generative AI, and responsible use on AWS. The exam is paid and proctored, and can be sat remotely or at a test centre.
Fundamental · Certificate · Paid
AWS
Certifications
The engineering counterpart to the practitioner exam: building, deploying and maintaining machine-learning workloads on AWS. Paid and examined, and written for people who already do this work.
Essential · Certificate · Paid
ISACA
Certifications
An audit-side AI credential for assurance professionals who have to review an AI system rather than build one. It is earned by examination, and ISACA publishes its own eligibility and maintenance requirements — confirm those with ISACA before booking.
Professional · Credential · Paid
IAPP
Certifications
A governance credential rather than a technical one: the law, policy and programme management of putting AI into an organisation responsibly. Earned by examination, with IAPP training sold separately from the exam.
Professional · Credential · Paid
ISACA
Certifications
ISACA's dedicated AI-risk credential, covering AI risk governance, lifecycle risk management and risk programme management. Earned by examination, and restricted to people who already hold an eligible ISACA (or equivalent) certification.
Professional · Credential · Paid
ISACA
Certifications
ISACA's long-established credential in enterprise risk and control, earned by examination. A common qualification alongside ISACA's newer AI-specific credentials for people building out an AI risk practice.

PECB
Certifications
A foundation-level course on the ISO/IEC 42001 AI management-system standard, run by PECB, an accredited certification body — ISO itself does not deliver training on its own standards. PECB states the course carries 14 CPD credits.

Start with a general introduction rather than a tool tutorial. Elements of AI from the University of Helsinki builds conceptual understanding with no technical background assumed, and Google AI Essentials covers practical use at work in under ten hours. Either one is enough to make the rest of this directory navigable.
Use the role section. Pick the role closest to your work and you get why AI matters there, what to learn first, the topics that apply, and a short list of external resources — rather than a general course that spends half its time on material irrelevant to you.
No — not for the majority of what is listed here. AI literacy, prompting, responsible use and applying AI to everyday work require no code at all. Programming becomes necessary only when you move into the Build route: models through an API, retrieval, agents and evaluation.
AI literacy is understanding what these systems do, where they fail and how to use them responsibly — the skill of judging output. AI engineering is building software on top of models: integrating them, grounding them in your own data, giving them tools, and measuring whether the result is good enough to ship. Most people need the first. Fewer need the second.
That is decided by your professional body, not by us, so the explorer reports only what the provider publishes. The CPE filter separates resources whose provider states that they carry continuing-education credit, resources that award nothing at all and so cannot be evidenced, and — the largest group — resources where the provider is silent. Alongside it, the Assessment filter shows whether a credential is earned by passing an exam or by completing the material, and the Issue date filter shows how recently the provider published the offering, which is what most reporting periods actually turn on. Where a provider publishes no credit claim we say so rather than assert eligibility on its behalf; take the provider's own page to your body if you need a ruling.
A substantial part of the catalogue. Use the Cost filter in the resource explorer and select Free to see them. We mark a resource free only where the provider publishes it at no cost; anything we could not confirm is shown as "See provider" rather than guessed at.
Both. Around half the catalogue is published free by the provider, and the rest includes paid certifications earned by examination — cloud and AI credentials from AWS, Microsoft and Google Cloud, audit and governance credentials from ISACA and the IAPP, and paid university and professional programmes. Use the Cost filter to separate them, and the Assessment filter if you specifically want something examined rather than awarded on completion. We never state a price: fees change, and the provider's own page is the only reliable place to read one.
Check who publishes it and go to their own site. Every link here points at the provider's official destination, never a mirror or a reseller, and the provider is named on every card. Beyond that: prefer material that states its level and prerequisites honestly, and be sceptical of anything promising expertise in a weekend.
Each entry carries the date Nakoda last reviewed it, shown on the resource card. Providers restructure their catalogues often, so if you find a link that has moved or a description that no longer matches, tell us and we will correct it.
No. Nakoda does not create, teach, host or accredit any of the learning listed here. Every course, programme, tutorial and credential belongs to the organisation that publishes it, and enrolment, payment, support and certification all happen with that organisation. Nakoda's work is discovery: finding what exists, describing it accurately and helping you get to the right one quickly.
Yes — separately from this directory. Everything above is curated from other organisations' public courses; this question is about the one thing on the page that Nakoda does teach. Nakoda's own Learning and Development practice runs live training directly for boards, teams and departments, built around your organisation's own tools and use cases rather than a generic deck. See the "For teams" section on this page, or get in touch to talk through what your organisation needs.
Tell us what you want to learn, and find the resources that fit your role, experience and goals.
Nakoda is a discovery and curation platform. External courses and programs are provided by their respective organizations. Listing a resource here is not an endorsement, and implies no partnership with, or accreditation by, the organization that publishes it.
